How do I search for articles in the Knowledge Base?

Environment

• Hodges University Knowledge Base

Resolution

There are three ways you can find articles in the Knowledge Base. You can browse through the category view and see all articles listed in that particular category , search by hashtags, or you can also search with phrases.

Browsing by Category View

1. Click Knowledge Base.
2. You will now see the Knowledge Base categories. Feel free to click through the categories to find what you are looking for.

Searching by Hashtag

Articles are labeled with hashtags. You can search for articles with particular hashtags by searching with a # before a word.

1. Click Knowledge Base.
2. Click Search.
3. Type # followed with a word. For example, if you are searching for articles about Blackboard use #Blackboard.
4. Click Search to pull up your results after selecting what you want to search for.
5. You can now click any of the articles to view them.

Searching

1. Click Knowledge Base.
2. Click Search.
3. Type in phrases. For example, if you are searching for an article on how to log into TopperMail search Logging in TopperMail.
4. You can also select a category and then type what you are searching for.
5. Click Search to pull up your results after selecting what you want to search for.
6. You can now click any of the articles to view them.
